I have 600 miles on it. I sent the gauge back Monday for a little issue that will be easily resolved. I will get it back in a week.

So far what I have seen is all good stuff. MPG was consistent at 14.7 and I seem to get better MPG dropping the AFR to 12. Went from 28 to 33 all yellows in twisties. My EGT is here now, i just have to waterproof it. This will prove where a complete burn is.

I can definitely see it hone in to the % in red and yellow zone and it really smooths it out and feels like a very even pull, compared to stock and my pc3. I had intended to drop the yellow zone so it would be on during cruising so it stays in closed loop. When i get it back i will see if this is an option. I may be making a trip out to Montana to verify some things after more testing. I also will shoot videos too. More to come, we just have to be patient.

Just so no one freaks out or thinks something really bad happened, the needle on the gauge got stuck is all. No biggie, an honest problem, Dobeck is going to fix it without issue. I just figure it's better to state that then leave it open ended... :elated:

As for the rest... :pop: :pop: :pop:

Just so I understand........since I have the 49-state stock exhaust I would need to have an O2 bung welded in? Or get a system aftermarket with an O2 hole already in place.......

Even a aftermarket system will not have a bung In the recommended location, and it probably will be a 12/1.25 not a 18/1.5thread

OK. Thx BB.

Is this available for purchase yet or are they still in beta?

This is up to dobeck, bare is the best dealer ever.

With what I have seen so far it works, I disagree with base settings so far. I have a flat spot that I would like to correct, or have dobeck look at. Maybe is programming in tge unit, maybe I have a issue on the bike side, maybe my settings are incorrect?

I had to run at 11.5 to correct the flat spot and would get it on video for verification of what's going on and when.

13 is no fuel in or out and I get the hiccup, remove the unit and I don't.

If you have stock exhaust then yes, you'll need an O2 bung welded in. If you have an aftermarket exhaust with a bung then you have the location, but (as mentioned) the wrong size. Now, this isn't necessarily the end of the world either. I've drilled and tapped these bungs many times for the larger O2 sensors. There used to be a loaner drill/tap set (years ago) floating around the VTXOA for this purpose. Lastly, and to be sure I completely reiterate everything BB said, the location will not be what Dobeck recommends. With that said, Dobeck did tell me that they would consider the alternative locations as possibilities after they see the results from BB's testing.

I believe that Dobeck thinks this beta testing would go much faster and smoother, and I do believe the unit is 95% ready out of the box as it sits. With that said, I would like to see them address some of BB's concerns before I'm prepared to back this thing 100%. I think it's great as it sits, and for the price better than what else is available, but I believe that a little patience will be rewarded with those small "hiccups" being remedied.

Soooooooooooooo. Retap the bung hole???????? Wow. (Sorry. )

that means they are "not yet"......got it.

As i sit here with an awake, energetic puppy I wonder.....where does one obtain an O2 sensor bung?

I believe big bad ordered a couple early from dobeck to have them installed and ready to go when the unit arrived. I think he mentioned that in his earlier posts.

Replaced gauge today, stall seems to be gone will know more this weekend. Egt temps cruising at 70 3grand get to 1200 degrees, was just a 20 mile ride by the time it got dark. Idle temps 850.

I ran a video but my flash card was screwed up.

yes that is its home. I have crap on handle bars, I want a gas gauge and a speedo and a tach that's it. For me its the most logical location Looks good, I can look down at it when I want and to be honest anyone who wants to finger this thing every ride has to much time on theyre hands. I am getting 32 mpg pretty consistant and running it at 12.5 yellow and 12 red that's pretty phat on the fuel. I am going to do some dyno runs some time to do some WOt comparison on settings.

I erased the previous vids and did get a better one last weekend, I do need to tip it up when I use it with out video but I am still playing with accel pump settings.

I would be interested to know what, if any power improvement I got with the EJK. Yes, it feels more, but the dyno is proof.
