I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE, AND TO SEE JUST WHO IN THIS HOME DID LIVE. I LO...

Adding a Tach to an 1800 Retro

I am just checking. I do not think the 1800 Retro has the yellow Tach wire in the headlight as the "C" does. If I am correct does anyone know when the tach is connected and how???

Installing a Dakota Digital 6000 on my 1800 Retro

I purchased this a few years ago and never got around to installing. When installing the DD 6000 on the VTX 1800 Retro, do I also need to purchase any sensors for the rear wheel or other equipment? I think the answer is no but it has been a while. Also, past the instructions that come with the DD 60...

Re: Looking for Chrome brake and throttle cables

Bare: As always your great. I am getting the lines exactly as you recommend in the clear vinyl and the full kits. I am thinking while I am doing/getting the work done, I will also add the B&B fuel management and rubber headlight insert, plus some other improvements. For the throttle lines with a...

Looking for Chrome brake and throttle cables

I have an 03 VTX 1800 Retro. I hm using the 1800 C risers so I need extra room for the cables.

I see the different manufacturers but was wondering what everyone recommends. Also, do you recommend the chrome covered with clear vinyl or what?

Any suggestions or recommendations??

VTX Retro 03 with a fuel management question

Question. I was running with the earlier model of the HPP with no problems. The HPP died. My bike is running lean now. Will this self adjust or recommendations please.

Also, are there any reviews comparing the Techfusion to the B&B Performance Computer? Is one preferred or is it preference?

Re: A few observations from your friendly neighborhood mechanic

I had the problem with the shifter on my Retro a number of years ago. I think Bare or someone had posted on the VTXOA site an easy how to fix. I remember it was the middle of the winter (January and I did not feel like laying on the concrete so I took it to the dealer and told the service manager wh...

Re: Quick disconnect fuel line coupling

Bare:

The VTXOA and BB are down alot. Would it be possible for you to not link to the VTXOA, but rather to repost the fix here? Just a thought but it would make life a little easier.
