Re: Looking for a good Modular type helmet

I picked up a Daytona modular with the built-in sun visor. Good airflow and comfortable yet snug. I paid $100 from Drasco Trading Post in Arkansas shipped.

Re: Tire repairs, safe and unsafe

I try not to ride a bike with a plug in a tire except for "getting her home". I have lost air quick when I had a valve stem break and it was no fun. Sorry to hear about the other rider. Schitt happens to the best of us.

Re: Merit Badges for the Zombie Apocalypse

have never seen the show but the guys at work rave about it. Perhaps on Netflix....... Guys here are gun nuts. At least two should be investigated by ATF. We always have somebody bring a gun by work daily. Plus side, we have never been robbed by Zombies.

Re: Can we talk about Ferguson?

Regardless, this officer's life as he knew it is over. Better he leave town and start again elsewhere. Sad, but true.

Re: Why we're going down the tubes...

After yesterday's vote, Republicans need to get off their hands and get to the business at hand. If they fail, we can look at another 4 yrs with a liberal, socialist president.

Re: Can we talk about Ferguson?

Cops sometimes kill folks that don't need killing. That said, this fool got what he had coming to him. He just got it sooner than later. I know blacks who feel the same way we do so it ain't a black thang. Its a culture thang and these folks were raised to be criminals.

problem with the teacher by a 6y/o

My Favorite Animal Our teacher asked what my favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken." She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, because everyone else laughed. My parents told me to always tell the truth. I did. Fried chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad wh...

Re: The FBI is going 9mm...

I own a 9mm but also a 44 special and a 38 special. They all will put a hole in you. If you are shot in a vital organ, I doubt you will get up and say, "Oh, that was just a ___."

Re: Age and riding?

Nice ride! I am 61 and wonder how long I will be able to ride my Rocket III. My Valk has a nice low center of gravity but the Rocket can be a beast to handle. Triking isn't something I consider. I have a BMW Z3 roadster for those days I just want to be on the road relaxing and listening to the radio...

Re: Thoughts.... Honda Magna...

I started Anita on a 350 Four Honda and moved her up to a 750 Shadow. Within 2 yrs, she moved up to a VTX1300c. She passed me at over 100mph and I asked her why at our next fuel stop. Her response was,"because I could". Once your woman starts riding, don't be surprised if you have created ...

Re: 2014 Valkyrie

I would not rule it out but I will be hanging on to my '99 for a while. Have to see it up close. I did see the F6B last weekend in Houston but it didn't appeal to me, too futuristic/plastic. I have 90,000+ miles on mine and it still runs like new. I can leave it sit for a month and it cranks right u...
